APDA SCHOLARSHIP & MENTOR PROGRAM
The Advanced Project Delivery Scholarship and Mentorship Program is a professional development sponsorship designed to build next-generation leadership capability in capital project execution. Recipients receive full Level 3 certification through AWP University (CII-sponsored), complimentary access to the AWP+ Conference, and structured one-on-one mentorship from an experienced industry leader matched to their award, gaining direct exposure to leading owners, EPCs, contractors, and industry experts.
The program recognizes talent across four distinct scholarship categories, each reflecting a different stage of the industry journey: entry into the field, entry for women building careers in construction, advancement into project delivery leadership, and innovation through digital and technology enablement.
Applications are evaluated through a structured, merit-based process. Because applicants enter the program at very different career stages, each category is scored against criteria appropriate to that stage, so an early-career applicant is judged on potential and initiative, not on a track record they have not yet had the opportunity to build. Independent scoring and committee review ensure a fair, calibrated, and defensible selection process aligned with long-term industry advancement and workforce development goals.
Scholarships include:
- Full Level 3 Certification: AWP University
- Complimentary AWP+ Conference Access
- Dedicated mentor
